The exhibit will run through the dates July 1-29 with a reception evening on July 8, 5-7 pm, hosted by Water and Sewer Authority who will bring goodies and family activities to the front lawn of the CAC.
The Douglasville Police Department invites everyone to fellowship together while discussing topics impacting our community. Discussions are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. (No 4th Thursday meetings in November or December, nor on holidays). We speak on local issues and work together as one for the benefit of the community. The “How I Got Over” Lockdown Collection is a currently significant exhibit displaying the inner overcoming of artists during quarantine. As we begin to see light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, a group of artists delve into the deep conversations happening now. Included will be artwork by artists Joseph McKinney, Vernita Hardy, Tiffany Charesse, Ren Dillard, Crystal Jin Kim, and Sean Mulkey. The show will run August 5-25 with a reception on August 5, 5-7 pm, hosted by Hudson’s Hickory House.
